Not because they are "difficult" — but because many have learned that adults, systems and traditional interventions do not always feel safe.

Every referral is different. Here are the needs we most commonly support — though no young person fits neatly into a single category.
Support for pupils overwhelmed by attendance, transition, social anxiety or emotionally based school avoidance. We meet young people where their anxiety is, not where we wish it was.
Helping schools understand behaviour as communication and build safer ways for pupils to regulate. We work on the "why" behind the behaviour, not just the behaviour itself.
Relational support for children impacted by instability, loss, adversity, neglect or chronic stress. Our practitioners are trained in trauma-informed and trauma-responsive approaches.
Lower-pressure support for pupils who benefit from creativity, routine, movement and flexible non-formal engagement. No clipboards. No eye contact required. Just a walk and a dog.
Consistent, trusted adult relationships for looked-after young people. We understand the impact of instability on the ability to trust — and we build that trust slowly and deliberately.
Young people in mainstream schools, colleges, PRUs and EOTAS who need targeted specialist input that sits alongside — not instead of — other support.
What began in mainstream schools has expanded nationwide into colleges, PRUs, EOTAS and alternative provision — because that is where many who need us most are found.
Our most common setting. We work alongside your existing pastoral provision, focused on the young people who need it most.
Most CommonOur approach is uniquely suited to young people who have already disengaged from mainstream education. Flexible, informal, and designed around them.
Growing FastSupporting post-16 learners who carry unresolved challenges into further education and need a different kind of consistent, trusted support.
ExpandingWorking with fostering agencies, local authorities and community organisations to support looked-after and vulnerable young people.
PartnershipSchools need reassurance before they can say yes. Every session is designed to feel calm for young people and professionally robust for those responsible for them.
A no-pressure conversation about whether we are the right fit for your young people.
