Who We Help

For young people who need something different.

Not because they are "difficult" — but because many have learned that adults, systems and traditional interventions do not always feel safe.

By Need

The young people we support.

Every referral is different. Here are the needs we most commonly support — though no young person fits neatly into a single category.

Anxiety & EBSA

Support for pupils overwhelmed by attendance, transition, social anxiety or emotionally based school avoidance. We meet young people where their anxiety is, not where we wish it was.

Behaviour & Regulation

Helping schools understand behaviour as communication and build safer ways for pupils to regulate. We work on the "why" behind the behaviour, not just the behaviour itself.

Trauma & ACEs

Relational support for children impacted by instability, loss, adversity, neglect or chronic stress. Our practitioners are trained in trauma-informed and trauma-responsive approaches.

ALN & Neurodiversity

Lower-pressure support for pupils who benefit from creativity, routine, movement and flexible non-formal engagement. No clipboards. No eye contact required. Just a walk and a dog.

Care Experienced Learners

Consistent, trusted adult relationships for looked-after young people. We understand the impact of instability on the ability to trust — and we build that trust slowly and deliberately.

Multiple & Complex Needs

Young people in mainstream schools, colleges, PRUs and EOTAS who need targeted specialist input that sits alongside — not instead of — other support.

By Setting

We go where the young people are.

What began in mainstream schools has expanded nationwide into colleges, PRUs, EOTAS and alternative provision — because that is where many who need us most are found.

Common Questions

Everything you need to know.

We work across all age groups from primary school children through to young people in FE colleges. Our most common range is 8–18, but we tailor every provision to the setting and the young people involved.
No — and it is important to be clear on this. Our dogs are companion wellbeing dogs, not registered therapy animals. They are a powerful engagement tool that helps our specialist practitioners build relationships. The support comes from our trained practitioners, not the animals.
Wellbeing dogs work across the school population. We use a targeted approach focused specifically on young people who need support most. Our companion dogs work alongside specialist practitioners using evidence-informed approaches. The dogs get the credit; our practitioners do the work.
Absolutely — this is one of our fastest-growing areas. Our approach is non-threatening, flexible, and specifically designed to engage young people who have already disengaged from traditional settings. We adapt to the young person, not the other way around.
We currently operate across South Wales with a growing number of partner schools and organisations. If you are outside our current area, please get in touch — we are actively expanding and would love to hear from you.
Yes — our free info pack includes a business case section covering the cost of exclusions, attendance funding impact, staff time saved, and how our outcomes compare to traditional support costs. We want it to be an easy yes at every level of your organisation.
